Zamil Shipyard
has almost four years of experience in shipbuilding. And since
entering into this business it became the premier and only shipbuilder in
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The yard's program in new building is geared towards
building sophisticated specialized vessels for the offshore support service
including; Diesel-Electric Anchor Handling Tugs/ Supply/ Safety vessels, Supply
vessels, Utility vessels, Work boats and Crew boats. More and above,
Zamil Shipyard is also specialized in
building Harbor tugs, Fire fighting vessels and pilot boats in addition to
building small port service units including pilot and service boats.

2002 Zamil Shipyard built (2) Utility Work Boats for ultimate charter to Saudi

 In 2003 Zamil Shipyard completed the building of (3) Harbor Tugs for the
Saudi Sea Ports Authority to serve Dammam port; Dammam 9 has 46 tons Bollard
Pull, Dammam 10 has 35 tons bollard pull and Dammam 11 has 25 tons bollard pull.

In 2004 Zamil Shipyard decided to build sophisticated AHTSS vessels to the
latest design, equipped with the most up-to-date equipment and powered by Diesel
Electric power plant and became the first of its kind in the shipbuilding world.
In
2005 Zamil Shipyard succeeded in delivering three vessels of this type to Saudi
ARAMCO. Saudi ARAMCO was fully satisfied by the design and performance of such
vessels.
In 2006 ZOMCO was awarded a contract for charter hire of 9 vessels to Saudi
ARAMCO of which 6 vessels will be built at Zamil Shipyard.
