Offshore Hook-Up Projects

In the third quarter of 2003, Saudi Aramco awarded the largest offshore construction contract to Zamil Marine Services, The Offshore Hook Up, (Upgrade, Modification and Commissioning Support) contract. The Contract started on 8 Nov 2003 and will run up to 7 Nov 2008, including 2 years option to extend.

• Provision of vessels and barges with operating crew, offshore equipment and labor,
• Contingency procurement and specialized services to undertake the hook-up,
• Upgrade, modification of offshore wellhead, tie in and processing Gas Oil Separation Platforms (GOSP0 and related marine construction activities at Saudi ARAMCO’s offshore oil fields (including their onshore portions) and other purposes;
• Provision of logistics/support base adjacent to the Saudi ARAMCO’s Marine Complex at Tanajib on land including warehousing, workshops, and material, equipment spare parts and consumables lay down areas adequate to support the offshore construction program.
• Provision of accommodation facilities for the personnel,
• Provision of management, administrative and material expediting labor, equipment and other services to support the work pursuant to Field Work Directives.
• Operation
• and maintenance of offshore service units; Jack up accommodation barges, work/maintenance/hook up boats, Offshore/field supply boats and crew boats.
